Her style of portraits is very intriguing. The center of focus is definately on the subject, with the background completely free of distractions, so your entire focus... without question... is on the subject. If you check her portfolio,some of her portraits might be a little provocative , but are very tasteful.

Krzysztof Browko

His work makes great use of light, or lack of. Many of his photos that are done at sunrise/sunset, create a flowing image because of the shadows. I like the calmness and serenity of his images.

Many of her photos are images that any of us could take, given the proper equipment AND being in the right place & time, but the photos below are beyond that. These photos create atmosphere with the fog, the contrast, the softness.

She was one of the artists featured in the SCC show earlier in the semester. 

"It seems that a crayon, pencil, paintbrush, or camera was always there. I graduated from the Webster Groves School District. I went to Meramec Community College for two years before going to the University of Missouri, Columbia for my B.S. in Secondary Art Education. Soon after graduating I was hired by the Pattonville School District where I taught Jr. High/ Middle School Art for 29 years. During that time I earned my MAT + 30 at Webster University. After I retired I discovered a new tool in Adobe PhotoshopDiscovering Photoshop at Meramec Community College which opened a whole new media which now includes Adobe Illustrator and Corel Painter as my tools to do art.  There’s always something new to discover and apply to my photos and art.  It’s great to find something that helps you become even more enthusiastic about what you do.  I figure that life is a continuous learning process."

There's something mysterious about her work that I haven't quite figured out. All of the images have the soft feel, but none of her subjects are smiling. Matter of fact, they are far from that. Some are expressionless, and some have a frightened look. A lot of her work is nudity... a weird nudity... like players on a tennis court, or people sitting around a table
